A folktale figure in The Trawler-man mythology, who sacrificed himself in order to save his parish from starvation. His act of heroism marks the day of The Day of The Fiddler Crab's Feast.[1]

Katabasian Fleck led his people into the delta. They were surrounded on all sides by their enemies, and the river wasn't producing any fish or lobster. Fleck's people were beginning to starve.
As they starved, they begin to lose their faith in the Trawler-man.
Fleck told his followers to wait an hour before coming to find him. His people were obedient and did so. He had offered himself as a sacrifice in return for a gift from the Trawler-man. There were hundreds of river angels, mostly fiddler-crabs and limpets.
His people grieved his loss, but rejoiced in the food his sacrifice has provided them with.
